HOSPITALITY TRANSFORMATION

Exploring atmosphere, circulation, and social occupation within existing commercial environments.
Spatial interventions reorganise dining, lounge, and service relationships to support contemporary hospitality through clarity, operational efficiency, accessibility, and everyday use.
Nyonya House Restaurant . Millbrae, California
Spatial interventions reorganise dining and service relationships through operational efficiency, inclusive circulation, and contemporary reinterpretations of the traditional Chinese 天井 (tiān jǐng) courtyard as a communal focus for light, gathering, and shared social experience.
The proposal integrates accessibility within the overall spatial organisation, allowing all users to move, gather, and occupy the restaurant naturally within a shared environment.
